A low carb, ketogenic diet seems overwhelming to some people at first. They read the research, the plans, the books, the outlines, etc… but somehow still manage to end up confused about what to eat. While I find keto to be one of the easiest diets to create meals on, I totally get how it can seem overwhelming when starting.
Fortunately, there are some great resources out there that provide resources for keto-safe meals that don’t make you think. Here are just a few to get you started:
- /r/keto’s Unofficial Tell Me What To Eat Thread
- Everything Atkins Sample Induction Menus
- Lowcarber.org Forum Menu Megathread
As you consider your menu options, just remember to double-check the nutrition information. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Also, as you may have seen above, there’s a TON of overlap between the induction phase of a standard Atkins diet, and keto. That means there’s a lot of resources available to you if you use your Google fu wisely.
